Research Interests
我們的研究方向主要為開發對天然免疫反應具有抑制作用的天然產物及衍生物,尤其是針對Toll樣受體、炎症小體、泛素化和去泛素化、和核受體啟動的信號傳導通路。我們會在如潰瘍性結腸炎、巨噬細胞極化、和膿毒血症等疾病模型上進一步驗證候選抑制劑的體內活性。例如,我們以分析天然產物穿心蓮內酯不同位置衍生物的結構與其抗炎作用的相關性為基礎,與合作課題組設計了新型穿心蓮內酯衍生物,正在炎症性腸病模型上進一步檢測其生物活性和作用機制。

We are broadly interested in developing small molecule inhibitors from natural products and derivatives to control innate immune reaction. In particular, our research revolves around the signal transduction related to signaling initiated by the Toll-like receptors, inflammasomes, ubiquitination and deubiquitination, and nuclear receptor. We investigate the potential therapeutic efficacy of candidate inhibitors to control the appropriate immune response in disease conditions like inflammatory bowel disease, macrophage polarization, and sepsis. For example, we analyzed structure-activity relationship (SAR) of a series of andrographolide analogs, and then synthesized a novel andrographolide analog based on the SAR results. The therapeutic potential of the novel andrographolide analog in inflammatory bowel disease is currently under investigation.
