A delegation led by Li Xiaokun, President of Wenzhou Medical University, visited the Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences (ICMS) and the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine (SKLQRCM) at the University of Macau (UM) on April 25, 2024. The delegation members were warmly received by Prof. Chen Xin, Director of ICMS and Director of SKLQRCM, Prof. Wan Jian-Bo, Full Professor of ICMS, and Prof. Cheang Wai San, Assistant Professor of ICMS.
During the visit, Prof. Chen introduced to the guests the organizational structure, talent-cultivation, teaching programs, and recent scientific achievements of ICMS and SKLQRCM. Prof. Chen also guided the delegation on a tour of the laboratories and core facilities within ICMS. Both sides expressed their mutual interest and expectations for engaging in-depth cooperation in the future.
The delegation from Wenzhou Medical University included other notable members such as Lin Li, Dean of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences; Wu Di, Deputy Dean of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences; Gong Fanghua, Deputy Dean of the Graduate School, Cui Xiao, Deputy Director of the Academician Office of Second Clinical College/Second Affiliated Hospital/Yuying Children’s Hospital, and Chen Chuanbang, a rehabilitation therapist from the First Affiliated Hospital.
