A delegation led by Liu Jingzhen, chairman of China National Pharmaceutical Group Co Ltd (Sinopharm), visited the Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences (ICMS) and the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine (SKLQRCM) as well as Macao Centre for Research and Development in Chinese Medicine (MCR&DCM) at the University of Macau (UM) on February 26, 2024. The delegation members received a warm reception from Prof. Chen Xin, Director of ICMS and Director of SKLQRCM and Prof. Yitao Wang, Chair Professor of ICMS and Director of MCR&DCM.
During the visit, Prof. Chen and Prof. Wang introduced to the guests the development and research achievements of ICMS and SKLQRCM, as well as MCR&DCM. Prof. Chen also guided the delegation on a tour of the laboratories and core facilities in ICMS. Both sides expressed their expectations to engage in-depth cooperation such as conducting joint translational research and enhancing the cultivation of technology talent, contributing to the integration and mutual promotion in the field of biomedical sciences and healthcare.
