Zhibin Hu, president of Nanjing Medical University (NMU) led a delegation and Wenfeng Chen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (GZUCM) led a delegation visited University of Macau (UM) Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences (ICMS) on 13 Dec. They were warmly received by ICMS Director Xin Chen and a team of principal investigators.
Prof. Chen presented to the guests from NMU and GZUCM with an overview of the development of ICMS and the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine (SKLQRCM). The delegations also visited the laboratories and core facilities in ICMS. They spoke highly of the development of ICMS, particularly its laboratories.
In the presence of UM Rector Yonghua Song and NMU president Zhibin Hu, Xin Chen, Director of UM’s ICMS, and Feng Han, Dean of NMU’s School of Pharmacy, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on educational and scientific cooperation. The two parties hope that the signed MOU will allow both universities to leverage their respective strengths, thereby promoting cooperation and collaborative innovation in education and scientific research.
