Director of the Department of Regional Opening-up at the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Jianping Xu led a delegation with representatives from several central ministries to visit University of Macau (UM) Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences (ICMS) and the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine (SKLQRCM) on 14 Dec. They were warmly received by ICMS Director and SKLQRCM Director, Prof Xin Chen together with Dr. Wai San Cheang, Dr. Oi Lam Ung, and Dr. Chon Kit Chou.
Prof. Chen presented the delegation with an overview of the research achievements of ICMS and SKLQRCM. He expressed gratitude to the central government for the long-standing strong support in ICMS’s development. The delegation also visited the laboratories and core facilities in ICMS. The delegation praised the research development of ICMS in area of Chinese medicine such as standardization and internationalization of Chinese medicine.
